Group Package Information

Everyone in the group catches a fish! Group rates are available for parties of 10 or more people; it’s a great outing for birthday parties, scout groups, schools, or company picnics.  Individuals fishing our group packages will be allowed to take home either one trout or one catfish (up to two pounds), or fish in our Catch-n Release ponds.  BIG M will provide at least one staff member for an hour and thirty minutes assisting your group with a sure catch.  There is a mandatory claim of all hurt fish!

*  All fishing equipment is provided and the assistance in guaranteeing everyone will catch a fish.

*  The fish will be cleaned at the farm ready for the grill.

*  Each fish will be iced & packaged individually so it will make it home safely.

*  You may bring in your own food & beverage for the group as we do provide a picnic area, charcoal barbecues and picnic tables.

* All members of your group must be present to qualify for the group rate; otherwise, our regular fees will apply to each individual.

 

Rates:

Big M Fishery offers a “GET HOOK’D on FISHING” package to all groups of 10 or more people, which includes the following:

*  Entrance fee.  *(Non-fishing chaperones, should they decide to fish, will receive the same discount as the group; otherwise the $3.00 entrance fee will apply to people in the group who choose not to fish).

*  One fish.  *One (1) fish per member is included in the group package price.  Trout average in size between 10” to 12”; our catfish average in size from one to four pounds. Our group package includes a single Trout or, one Catfish up to 2 pounds; weight exceeding our two-pound limit will be charged at our regular price per pound.

*  Fishing pole rental included.

*  Fish cleaning service.

*  100 Jumbo Red worms; for every 10 people fishing.

 

NOTE: 

If group members decide to take more than one fish per person, our regular price per pound (live weight) will apply for any additional trout or additional weight over the 2-pound limit for catfish.

 

A non-refundable deposit of $2.00 per fishermen is required at the time of your reservation. The deposit will be applied towards the final total the day of the event.  Interested parties should fill out the attached group registration form and mail it to us.  In the event of rain, parties will be re-scheduled on the next available date and time.

 

Each year Big M Fishery continues to become more popular and the dates fill up quickly, so please make your reservations at least three weeks in advance, as space is limited around the fishing pond.

BSA / GSA Troops  & merit badges: Troop leaders should contact us directly as we can arrange for each Scout the opportunity to earn their fishing merits.

 

Thinking about making plans for annual fishing event, Big M makes a great venue for hosting a fishing derby or special event. We are able to accommodate up to 150 people fishing at one time; and have plenty of parking.
